They feature a patented runner design and have a non-EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) style. This boosts the torque and horsepower over a wide RPM range, from off-idle to 5,500 RPM. This Performer 400 intake is for 4-barrel carburetors and it has a square bore flange. They accept late-model choke, water neck, alternator, and air conditioning brackets and have provisions for oil filler tube.
