Glenfarclas 10 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Scottish Highlands offer an ideal climate for the production of whisky, which is why numerous distilleries were already established there in the 19th century. Among them is the Glenfarclas Distillery, which was founded by Robert Hay in 1836. The distillery is still family-owned today and is now run by the fifth and sixth generation, making it one of the few that have been able to retain their independence. The 'Glenfarclas 10 Years' is a single malt that matured for ten years in former Oloroso sherry barrels, which are personally selected by the master distillers in a bodega in Spain. This award-winning single malt Scotch whisky is distilled in the traditional Speyside style and has an amber colour. This award-winning Speyside whisky is aged for ten years in selected Oloroso sherry casks from Spain, which give it not only its amber yellow colour but also its fruity and spicy notes.
