These JET Performance Stage 1 Quadrajet carburetors start out with a complete disassembly of the hand selected cores, then they are cleaned and begin the thorough inspection procedure. The casting plugs are sealed with epoxy to prevent leak-down into the intake manifold. All circuits are checked for proper sizing and the calibration is checked for proper jets, primary metering rods and secondary metering rods. The carburetors are then reassembled using the highest quality components with new floats, choke pull-off and bronze bushed throttle shafts. These Stage 1 carburetors are intended to restore factory stock performance.Notes: Chevrolet style carburetor, will not fit Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, or Pontiac engines. Designed for non-computer controlled applications. This carburetor is a spread bore design and will not fit square bore intake manifolds. This carburetor is not intended for engines with RV or performance type camshafts.
