John Boos u0026 Co. End-Grain Maple Chopping Block

Dimensions: 20 x 15 x 2.25 inches Genuine butcher block, end grain construction North American Maple Reversible and usable on both sides Grooved grips for easy lifting A true butcher block made by the original butcher block craftsmen, John Boos & Co. Made from end grain, 2.25 inch thick maple, each block is designed specifically for industrious kitchen tasks, including butchering and chopping. The edge grain design is self healing against knife scars and also keeps knives sharp by ensuring the blade passes through the grain instead of across the grain. With grooved grips on each side, this chopping block is easy to lift, clean or flip. Both sides are usable as well, giving the option to use each side for different purposes or just getting twice the mileage of out your chopping block. Established in 1887, John Boos has built a reputation crafting fine butcher and chopping blocks for over a century.
