Meng 1/24 Scale Fokker Dr.I Triplane - Plastic Kit #QS-003

One of the most recognisable aircraft of the Great War, the Fokker Dr.1 triplane achieved a reputation well beyond the small number actually built. It was in service for not much more than six months from late 1917, until early summer 1918. It needed an experienced pilot to get the best from it, as it was slow but highly manoeuvrable. The all red aircraft of Manfred von Richthofen is the most famous of the Dr.1’s but several other aces also flew them. The kit includes cockpit and engine interiors. The wing fabric covering effect has been designed by digital sculpting and looks realistic. Even the seat saftey belt is made of a fleexible material to make it look and feel like the real thing, the kit included four paint schemes and fine nphoto etched parts. A beautifully scale kit and one that any builder will enjoy Additional items are required to complete kit as illustrated.
