Setaria Italica 'Hylander' is a particularly tall variety specially developed for the cut flower market. Grow your own birdseed! This robust ornamental grass is quite ornamental & adds a very pleasing, arching, architectural shape to the garden. Long & thick, dense, pendulous seed heads of the 'Hylander' variety were especially developed for the cut flower trade. Rich soil is best.
