Who doesnt like free stuff and No Tool assembly? What does the extension post actually do? Most standard floor racks are 30 inch in overall height and are made for freshwater rod and reel combos. By adding the free 6 inch extension post along with the innovative dual rod clip technology, you can store those larger saltwater rods vertically on this fishing rod rack. The caps on the base plate capture any water from the rod or reels, the center post is 38mm (1.5 inch) in diameter and has been powder coated for long-lasting durability and resistant to scratching. The Barn Wood grain laminate finish only adds to the luster to this superior rod storage rod rack with an assembled height of 14.75 inch L x 14.75 inch W x 36 inch H.
