Woodford Reserve Masters / Brandy Cask Finish

Every year, the Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection releases an experimental cask finish - in 2016, they produced a spectacular Kentucky bourbon finished in American brandy casks for up to two years. One of a kind, this bottle comes in at 45.2% abv. The nose is pleasantly sweet with brown sugar, cinnamon, caramel and raisins. Dried fruits continue on the palate, along with banana bread, burnt caramel and plenty of vanilla notes. The finish is long and lingering with a burst of citrus at the end.
